My first foray into live-streaming theater was She kills Monsters: Virtual Realms. As shown in these excerpts, I endeavored to use dynamic staging that was also believable for people utilizing video communication platforms so as to not break emersion. On display in these clips are my staging, coaching, lighting, SFX. Also shown is my management of cutting back and forth between the live performance and pre-recorded footage. It's Hell Out There is an original play written by myself. I also directed this production at the Croton Academy of Arts. I not only envisioned a story that utilized the platform but further built upon the innovated staging and production techniques that I carried over from stage to screen for She Kills Monsters. I built and ran all VFX and SFX cues. I also managed props and lighting. I endeavored to make staging dynamic and introduced some fight choreograph. Screencapture from live 12/06/2020 performance. Buddy is a one-act comedy written by one of my students. I coached the individual through the writing process, and also staged a production of this script which came from a brilliant young mind. It was a low-budget production, which I decided to embrace, giving the play a fun energy reminiscent of the sketch comedy vibe.  Performed 05/18/2018 Runtime 8:12
